Who we serve
We are connected to the beneficiaries of our services through multiple agencies and institutions. These benevolent organizations provide support to our most vulnerable community members; refugees, people emerging from homeless situations, youth graduating from foster care, and domestic violence survivors.
Organizations such as these help as many people as possible with limited resources, so we are proud to provide the type of services for which their funding may be lacking.
Our Beneficiary Process
If you represent a community support agency or similar social service organization, we can be your resource.
If you are an individual, please ask your case manager to reach out to us.
Please read all the sections below to understand our process before reaching out:
-
We provide furniture pieces that have been been restored by our volunteers from previously damaged or badly worn conditions into like-new condition.
We are not a showroom with a vast selection of choices. Our inventory is limited based upon what has been donated and we do not have items available for same-day pick up. As requests are received, selected pieces are added to the schedule and will require some lead time.
-
If you are a potential new partner interested in utilizing our services for your clients, please start by sending an email to our Fulfillment and Design Lead Lucie at lucie@repairbank.org. We want to provide a full overview of our process and limitations. We also want to learn about your organization and clients.
Please fill out a request form 3 to 4 weeks before your client will need the items when possible. We can try to accommodate more urgent requests, but we work in the order the requests have been received.
For each request, we will send an email confirming all items are still needed. The request will not proceed to production until we have received a confirmation in response.
We will assign furniture items to your client automatically based on what is requested and current availability. We make every effort to provide items that pair well with each other.
We rely on furniture donations, so our inventory varies. We may not always have every item requested available.
-
There is no cost to the client for the furniture we provide. When delivery is requested, we welcome and appreciation donations to help offset our delivery costs, but it is not required to receive support.
If you are able to pick up your furniture items, your request may be able to be completed sooner.
We are not a showroom open to visitors to shop for grab-and-go pieces at any time.
