Furniture Repair Bank is on a mission
We are building a community of mighty, courageous, and empathic individuals to rescue furniture from landfills and help refugees and low-income families and individuals.
We work on the intersection of sustainability, community, and equity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that thrives on reducing waste, empowering individuals, and uplifting communities.
We envision a future where furniture waste is eliminated, repair skills are fostered for generations, and vulnerable households have access to quality furniture.

Our sustainability partners
We collect damaged and worn furniture items from public and partners. These partners are junk haulers, organization businesses, solid waste and public works departures of municipalities.
Our community partners
Our repair and redesign efforts are greatly supported by a variety of partners who provide us tools, supplies, and advice, and also bring their members to the warehouse for team building volunteer events.
Our equity partners
We serve families and individuals who are clients of resettlement agencies that help refugees find new homes, shelters that serve people emerging from homelessness, agencies that help women build new lives after experiencing domestic violence, and more.
